Fitting instructions
for the Crusader Hitch Lock
We recommend that the lock pin is stored in
the hitch lock in the locked position.
Remember to store one of your keys in a safe place and make
a note of the key number
Fitting Procedure
1 Lift hitch lever and insert
the spigot on the lower plate into the ball cavity.
Lower hitch lever into locked / travelling position. |

2 The plate will be retained in position.

| 3 Lower the main cover over the hitch
handle to line up the collars on the lower plate with
the lock bar bushes in the main cover. |

4 Remove the key from the lock. This
will get the lock pin in the correct position for fitting
the lock bar. |

 |
|
5 Insert the lock bar through the main
bush, through the two collars on the lower plate .

 |
|
6 Push fully home when the lock bar will
automatically lock in position
The hitch lock is now correctly fitted. |

Removal Procedure
1 Turn the key clockwise to its limit
2 Withdraw the lock pin completely supporting the weight
of the lock with the handle.
3 Lift the main body of the lock from the hitch.
4 Using one hand to support the lower plate activate
the hitch handle to release the lower plate.
Removal is complete |
